La Paz, Honduras, June 9, 2017 — Personnel from Joint task Force-Bravo's Medical Element visited the Regional Health Center in the Tepanguare village located in La Paz, Honduras, May 24, 2017 to provide free consultations and medications for the local patients.

Tepanguare is a village located in the mountains of La Paz where illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections and parasitic infections are common among the population.

The clinic relies on a medical provider and one nurse to provide services for more than 2,500 people from Tepanguare, Astillero, Piedras, San Antonio, Piedra Parada, La Vega and Guachipilin, receiving approximately 40 patients a day.

The MEDEL team collaborates by visiting the understaffed center monthly as part of their community health projects and assisting them.
