Air Force Reserve AE technicians, Peruvian partners participate in training scenario

PERU — Resolute Sentinel 23 aims to improve readiness of U.S. and partner nation military and interagency personnel through joint defense interoperability training, engineering projects and knowledge exchanges.

U.S. Navy Joins Regional Allies in Ecuador for 61st UNITAS Exercise

MANTA, Ecuador — Naval forces from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, and the United States commenced UNITAS LXI, an annual multinational exercise, Nov. 2 in Manta, Ecuador.

JTF Bravo Conducts Large Formation Helicopter Exercise

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — U.S. Army soldiers assigned to Joint Task Force Bravo conducted a helicopter exercise out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, May 28, 2020. The exercise involved participation from the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment and the use of 10 U.S. Army CH-47 Chinooks and UH-60 L Blackhawk helicopters.

JTF-B Assess, Educates Honduran Community

LA PAZ, Honduras — Medics from Joint Task Force - Bravo’s Medical Element (MEDEL) and 1st Battalion 228th Aviation Regiment partnered to help assess the needs of Florida de San Jose, a small community of La Paz, Honduras, during a Pediatric Medical Readiness Training Exercise (MEDRETE), May 22-23.

Helicopter Exercise Tests JTF-B Rescue Capabilities

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — What started off as a routine passenger transport flight resulted in a search and recovery mission for Joint Task Force – Bravo. The simulated scenario tested the base’s capabilities and procedures during a personnel recovery exercise, here, May 21.

A UH-60 Blackhawk from the 1-228th Aviation Regiment aims to extinguish a simulated wildfire to show the additional capabilities of Joint Task Force - Bravo during the Central America Sharing Mutual Operational Knowledge and Experiences (CENTAM SMOKE) exercise, April 11, 2019, at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. CENTAM SMOKE brought together firefighters from Honduras, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala and El Salvador to train with U.S. Air Force members as well as develop bonds and understandings of one another’s culture with team building exercises. JTF-B burns cultural barriers during CENTAM SMOKE

New Horizons Embedded Health Engagement provides unparalleled training

METETI, Panama — As with most tasks, hands-on education remains one of the most effective training methods of both learning and maintaining skills. For some medical professionals participating in Exercise New Horizons 2018, hands-on training comes in the form of fully submerging into local clinics.

La Paz, Comayagua Police force receives training

COMAYAGUA, Honduras — To further strengthen the knowledge of the local police forces, 115 members of the National Police force Comayagua and La Paz participated in a Subject matter Exchange with Joint Security Forces personnel from Joint Task Force-Bravo, stationed at Soto Cano Air Base in Palmerola, Comayagua.

U.S. Army South, in partnership with the Belize Defence Force (BDF), and the Ministries of Defence, Health, and Education are proud to announce “Beyond the Horizon 2017” (BTH), a collaborative training exercise involving numerous U.S., Belizean, and international participants.BTH will provide free medical and dental services, as well as build medical and educational facilities from March 25, 2017 and is scheduled to end the second week of June, 2017.
