The evolving security challenges in Central America are threatening the security beyond the region and demand a unified approach, the commander of U.S. Southern Command said at a regional security conference.

Soldiers are helping others through Beyond the Horizon, a partnership exercise between the government of Belize and U.S. Southern Command, where they are providing free medical services and construction projects throughout Belize.

U.S. service members and their Belizean counterparts are working on several different construction projects throughout the country of Belize as part of Beyond the Horizon 2017, which runs from March 25 until June 17.

Beyond the Horizon 2017 provides free medical services event in Belize
