The Marketing and Sponsorship Office provides
marketing services for the Directorate of
Morale, Welfare and Recreation. This
office coordinates the
Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Website
and publishes the MWR newsletter, The Bugle Boy.
The Marketing Coordinator publishes and sells
advertising for the MWR newsletter,
The Bugle Boy; publishes monthly MWR
calendars of events; negotiates commercial
sponsorship with businesses and organizations
for MWR events and programs; conducts customer
satisfaction surveys and maintains an MWR email
list for those wishing to receive information
via email on MWR events and programs.

is
available in the Bugle
Boy Newsletter, which has a circulation of 1,750.
The Bugle Boy is mailed to all USSOUTHCOM family members
and placed at high traffic sites. The Bugle Boy is a
family-oriented publication and is the ONLY USSOUTHCOM
print newsletter. The Bugle Boy is the one of the
best sources of information about life at USSOUTHCOM and
in South Florida. Advertising in the Bugle Boy
offers your business exposure to hundreds of Service
Members and their families.

USSOUTHCOM members only. The deadlines for submission

web and are
posted in Outlook, (Unclassified,) Public Folders,
All Public Folders, MWR.

Sponsorship
Commercial Sponsorship offers many opportunities for
businesses to sponsor US Southern Command
(USSOUTHCOM) events. It offers your business
exposure to hundreds of Service Members and their
families.
The
Benefits of Sponsorship include direct access to
more than 1500 USSOUTHCOM military Service Members
and their families, reservists, civilian employees
and contractors. Publicity for your business
is achieved via print and electronic media
throughout USSOUTHCOM, banners and product displays
at events. Establish brand preference among
the military community and show yourself as a
supporter.
Events you may sponsor include sporting events such as
golf tournaments, (Commander’s Classic,
Commander’s Invitational), Command Field Day,
participation in 5k runs, Fall and Spring Picnics,
Holiday Social, children’s holiday party, other
family activities and community-wide events.
Annual Sponsorship - For a specified annual
sponsorship fee, you will be recognized at every
designated US SOUTHCOM MWR (Morale, Welfare and
Recreation) event for one calendar year.
