U.S. Army soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, Joint Task Force-Bravo participated in the Guatemalan Air Force Centennial Air Show in Guatemala City, Dec. 5, 2021.
The Bravo Company “Sugar Bears” with the 1-288 represented the Task Force and the U.S. Southern Command, displaying one CH-47 Chinook helicopter. U.S. service members posed for photos with spectators and allowed attendees to enter the aircraft while explaining more about the Chinook’s features and capabilities.
The air crew highlighted the mission of JTF-Bravo in the region and strengthened ties with our partners as well as community members during the Guatemalan Air Force’s celebration.
