Air Forces Southern
June 14, 2019 | 1:26
Aircrew from the 124th Fighter Wing, Idaho Air National Guard, partner with members of the Brazilian Air Force during Exercise Green Flag at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., June 14, 2019. Brazilian Air Force aircrew flew A-29 Super Tucano aircraft alongside U.S. A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft as part of the exercise. The exercise is meant to hone skills in close air support, and is being jointly held by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army.
Exercises like Green Flag provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships with partner nations and improve interoperability between the U.S. Air Force and the Brazilian Air Force.
