Emergency Guidance for SOUTHCOM Personnel


LATEST GUIDANCE FOR HURRICANE MILTON

October 8, 2024:  Due to Hurricane Milton and inclement weather impacting South Florida, the installation will be at minimal manning 09-10 Oct 24. Please see below for guidance regarding impacts to Installation, Garrison services and closures. 

Accountability – ensure your information is updated in ALERT and ADPAAS. 

GARRISON SERVICES:

CDC/CYS – Tues open until last child picked up. Closed Wed/TH.

Clinic – Closed today at 1500. Telework Wed/TH. Clinic will be providing telehealth and virtual appointments.  Working through potential prescription rerouting to other agencies such as CVS or Walgreens.

Rideout - Other personnel remaining in building (ride out) are left to J’Dir discretion.  Likely personnel from J6 and J3. CMDT prepped to push supplies as needed.

Gate – Gate 1 closed Wed/TH.  Gate 2 will remain open.

Gym – Closed Wed/TH.

AAFES Services – 1300 close today.  Wed/TH closed. Half day Friday.

LRC – Closed to shipments Wed/TH.

ID/DEERS – Closed Wed/TH- open Friday.
