Guyana - Director of Exercises in Coalition Affairs at the United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), Retired Lt. Col Mr. Kevin Bostick, addresses a crowd during the opening ceremony of Tradewinds 2021. U.S. forces joined with Guyanese, French, Canadian, and other allied nation representatives to kick off the annually held exercise. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined and interagency training, focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
