Guyana - A U.S. Soldier with 7th Special Forces Group instructs U.S. Ambassador to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Sarah-Ann Lynch, on marksmanship skills during Tradewinds 2021, Camp Stephenson, Guyana, June 18. Ambassador Lynch visited Tradewinds sites to interact with international troops on the ground and observe active training events. Special Forces representatives were joined by Florida guardsmen from the 2-54 Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) as they conducted rifleman training for the Guyana Police Force. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined, and interagency training focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
