Guyana - U.S. Ambassador Sarah-Ann Lynch visited troops engaged in Exercise Tradewinds at Camp Stephenson, Guyana, June 18. Ambassador Lynch spoke with Guyana Defence Force Pilot Lt. Col. Mohinder Ramjag before moving to observe Special Forces representatives and Florida guardsmen from the 2-54 Security Force Assistance Brigade conducting basic rifle marksmanship training with the Guyana Police Force. Tradewinds 2021 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored Caribbean security-focused exercise in the ground, air, sea, and cyber domains, working with partner nations to conduct joint, combined and interagency training, focused on increasing regional cooperation and stability.
