COLINA, Chile (April 19, 2023) -- The commander of U.S. Southern Command, U.S. Army Gen. Laura Richardson, reviews Chilean Army soldiers in formation during exercise Fused Response April 19 at Special Operations Brigade. The bilateral U.S. and Chilean exercise is an ongoing effort to enhance readiness and interoperability among SOUTHCOM components, various agencies and partner nations to effectively and rapidly respond to regional security challenges. Richardson visited Chile April 18-21 to meet with leaders to discuss security cooperation and visit U.S. and Chilean forces taking part in exercise Fused Response.
