U.S Army South Leaders and Partner Nations Begin the 30th Conference of American Armies

U.S Army South's Commanding General ,Major General Frederick Rudesheim and several of its key leaders were on hand to represent the U.S Army during the week long 2012 Conference of American Armies hosted by U.S. partner nation Mexico and its army in Mexico City, Mexico. During the conference Army South's Staff Judge Advocate Lieutenant Colonel Daniel P. Saumur addressed the 25 partner nation Chiefs of Army on the findings concerning several international legalites that affect disaster relief and peace keeping operations. The legal matters were identified by all partner nations in attendence during the july 2012 specialized legal conference hosted by U.S Army South in San Antonio, Texas. The Conference of American Armies is held every two years and provides Army leaders from over 25 countries in South, Central, and North America the opportunity to strengthen joint capabilities as well as discuss mutual concerns and interest such as Hemispheric Securtiy and disaster relief operations.
