USAF JTAC Tyler Stewart at Relampago VI Interview
Air Forces Southern
July 8, 2021 | 4:46
U.S. Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controller, Technical Sergeant Tyler Stewart, 14th Air Support Operations Squadron, describes his role in Exercise Relampago VI at Comando Aereo de Combate Number 5 (CACOM 5) in Rionegro, Colombia, July 8, 2021. U.S. Air Force TACPs trained Colombian special forces on how to call in simulated airstrikes on targets using U.S. F-16 Fighting Falcons. The Colombian GROEA typically have more than one expertise and are referred to as commandos. The exercise and training with the U.S. TACPs will give the commandos the joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) capability.
