AFRC Wing at Travis delivers humanitarian aid to Haiti

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — A Reserve aircrew from the 301st Airlift Squadron performed a three-day mission Sept. 23 – 25, to move humanitarian cargo to Haiti. Through the Denton Program, three school buses donated from San Diego Unified School District were transported from March Air Reserve Base, California, to Haiti.

Reservists help school children in need

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS — During a combined humanitarian and training mission, a C-17 Globemaster III from the 315th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, delivered educational supplies to St. Kitts and Nevis on July 25, 2020. The mission was planned to maintain the aircrews flying readiness requirements, while also delivering school supplies to the citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Denton Program Transports Aid To Honduras

Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras — A U.S. Air Force C-17 aircraft from the 133rd Air National Guard in Minnesota transported a large donation of 44,180 pounds of humanitarian aid supplies to Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, June 26, through the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Denton Program.

Air Force delivers donated emergency vehicles to Guatemala

(AFNS) — The Denton Program is a Department of Defense transportation program that moves humanitarian cargo, donated by U.S. based non-governmental organizations to developing nations to ease human suffering. The approved cargo is transported by DoD land, air or sea assets on a space-available basis and is managed by the U.S. Department of State and DoD.

Helping Haiti’s Children: 315th Delivers Buses to Haitian School Org

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. — A two-pronged mission over a weekend in December not only helped to keep 315th Airlift Wing aircrews current on all their certifications, but also delivered three badly-needed buses to schools in Haiti. Citizen Airmen of Joint Base Charleston’s 317th Airlift Squadron, with support from three additional Citizen Airmen of the 514th Air Mobility Wing from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, transported the school buses in a C-17 aircraft from Charleston to Port-au-Prince, where they were offloaded at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, December 16, 2017.
