U.S. Navy Adm. Craig Faller, commander of U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), visited Colombia and Ecuador Apr. 22 – 25 and met with top leaders in both countries to discuss regional security and strengthen cooperation.

Colombian President-elect Ivan Duque visits U.S. Southern Command

MIAMI (July 14, 2018) -- Colombian President-elect Ivan Duque visited U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) headquarters today, where he met with Adm. Kurt Tidd, SOUTHCOM commander and other leaders from the headquarters to learn more about the command and its defense partnership with Colombia. Duque visited the headquarters as he prepares to assume the presidency of Colombia Aug. 7.
