U.S. Southern Command, U.S. Space Force Hold First Ever LATAM Space Doctrine Conference

U.S. Southern Command and the U.S. Space Force’s Space Training and Readiness Command co-hosted the inaugural Latin America Space Doctrine Conference, in Miami, FL, June 27-29, bringing together Air Force leaders from six South American countries as well as their U.S Air Force and Space Force counterparts.

U.S. Air Force, Space Force Take Part in FIDAE 2022 Trade and Air Show in Chile

After a full week of performances, static aircraft displays, and all of the logistics and support to make an event like Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio (FIDAE) happen, U.S. Airmen are headed home after making lasting memories and partnerships in Santiago, Chile, from April 5-10, 2022.

U.S. Airmen arrive at Chilean Trade and Air Show, FIDAE

Over 130 Airmen and Guardians have touched down in Santiago, Chile to participate in the Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio (FIDAE), Latin America’s largest aerospace, defense and security exhibition, April 5-10, 2022.

USAFA Falcon Telescope on Display at FIDAE Trade and Air Show in Chile

The U.S. Space Force, in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), have brought a .5 meter telescope known as the Falcon Telescope to display at the Space Force booth during Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio (FIDAE), Latin America’s largest aerospace, defense and security exhibition, April 5-10, 2022.

SOUTHCOM Hosts New U.S. Space Force 'U.S.-Brazil Space Engagement Talks'

U.S. Southern Command hosted the newly established U.S. Space Force and Brazilian counterparts for virtual U.S.-Brazil Space Engagement Talks. Not only is this the first senior space flag officer event between the U.S. and Brazil, but it is the first such event for the U.S. Space Force.
