Continuing Promise 2024 Holds Ceremony for Official Transfer of Donations

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet's Continuing Promise 2024 mission held a ceremony in front of the Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Burlington (T-EPF 10) commemorating the official transfer of medical supplies and hurricane relief donations from the mission on behalf of several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to the government of Jamaica. This ceremony was done in conjunction with the U.S. Embassy, Jamaica and held at Kingston Wharves.

Continuing Promise 2023 Partners Host HA/DR Training for First Responders in Almirante, Panama

Local first responders partnered with U.S. Southern Command’s (SOUTHCOM) Public-Private Cooperation Office (PPC), U.S. SOUTHCOM Non-Federal Entities (NFEs) and U.S. Navy personnel in a collaborative effort to engage in humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) training in Almirante, Panama, August 14-15, 2023.

USNS Burlington Arrives in Almirante, Panama

USNS Burlington (T-EPF 10) arrived in Almirante, Panama, Aug. 11, marking the first of many stops throughout the course of the Continuing Promise 2023 mission. During Burlington’s time in Panama, U.S. Navy and partner nation medical personnel will work together to provide care in community clinics. The vessel recently returned from participating in UNITAS, the world’s longest-running multinational maritime exercise in the world.

The U.S. Navy expeditionary fast transport USNS Burlington (T-EPF 10) will deploy to the U.S. Southern Command area of operations over the next two months as part of U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet's Continuing Promise 2023 mission.

CARRIBEAN SEA -- U.S. Navy Sailors partnered with Military Sealift Command civilian mariners and civilian contractors in a collaborative effort to successfully launch a Wave Glider unmanned surface vehicle (USV) from expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Burlington (T-EPF 10), June 30, 2023.

UNITAS LXIV to begin in Colombia

U.S. Navy and Marine forces are set to arrive in Cartagena in support of UNITAS LXIV, the world’s longest-running multinational maritime exercise in the world, scheduled to start July 11, 2023.
