Reserve Citizen Airmen treat Honduran patients during medical readiness training exercise

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. — Twenty-one Air Force Reserve medics with the 403rd Wing took part of a Medical Readiness Training Exercise Dec. 4-18. Known as the 403rd MEDRETE 2019 Honduras, Airmen from the 403rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron and 36th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron here as well as reservists from around the country, worked with a team of doctors from the Joint Task Force-Bravo Surgeon’s Cell out of Soto Cano Air Base, to provide free medical care to the citizens of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, also known as the Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration hosts the 2018 Caribbean Hurricane Awareness Tour, April 23-28. The tour is designed to help communities in Mexico and the Caribbean prepare for the season and the coming storms. US hurricane forecasters embark on preparedness mission to Mexico, Caribbean

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. — With the 2019 hurricane season fast approaching, NOAA and the U.S. Air Force Reserve will host a series of events, including tours aboard the hurricane hunter aircraft, to help communities in Mexico and the Caribbean prepare for the season and the coming storms.
