Beyond The Horizon 2017: New clinic in Belize lays foundation for future

LADYVILLE, Belize — Members of the Beyond the Horizon Task Force and the Belize Ministry of Health hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 9 for a newly constructed addition to the Ladyville Health Clinic in Ladyville, Belize. BTH 2017 is a partnership exercise between U.S. Army South and the Government of Belize providing five construction projects and three medical events throughout the country.

U.S. troops provide medical care in Belize

As part of the Beyond the Horizon 2017 humanitarian and civic assistance exercise, U.S. military medical personnel are working with the Belize Defense Force and the Ministries of Defense, Health and Education to provide care to Belizeans during an eleven-day medical event in Dangriga.

Wyoming National Guard provides medical care in Belize

Soldiers from the Wyoming National Guard kicked off the second of three medical readiness events as part of Beyond the Horizon 2017 at Macal River Park in San Ignacio, Belize May 8. Beyond the Horizon 2017 planners meet with civic partners regarding upcoming medical event in San Ignacio

Command team members and medical planners from Beyond the Horizon 2017 met with Cayo district leaders April 27 to discuss operations for the upcoming medical event scheduled for May 8 through May 16 in San Ignacio. BTH 2017 is a partnership exercise between U.S. Southern Command and the Government of Belize designed to improve health and educational facilities by providing five construction projects and three health care events throughout the country.

U.S. Troops Visit Children’s Home in Belize

LADYVILLE, Belize — Soldiers are helping others through Beyond the Horizon, a partnership exercise between the government of Belize and U.S. Southern Command, where they are providing free medical services and construction projects throughout Belize.

U.S. Army engineers build clinics, school in Belize during Beyond the Horizon 2017

U.S. service members and their Belizean counterparts are working on several different construction projects throughout the country of Belize as part of Beyond the Horizon 2017, which runs from March 25 until June 17.

LADYVILLE, Belize — U.S. Soldiers and Marines worked together to open a free medical clinic in Ladyville, Belize, April 9, as a part of Beyond the Horizon 2017. BTH 2017 is a partnership exercise between the government of Belize and U.S. Southern Command that will provide three free medical service events and five construction projects throughout the country from March 25 until June 17.
