JTF-Bravo hikes over 5000 pounds of food and supplies to San Jerónimo, Comayagua, Honduras
U.S. Army Lt. Col. Rhonda Dyer, Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element, hiked approximately 3.6 miles round-trip carrying 25 lbs of food to the village of San Jerónimo, Comayagua, Honduras, Apr. 29, 2017. Members of JTF-Bravo carried more than 5025 lbs of food and supplies, 24 soccer balls and 3 piñatas to the people of San Jerónimo. Chapel hikes have been occurring since 2003, with the JTF-Bravo Chapel sponsoring an average of six every year. The hikes are designed to provide a practical way for JTF-Bravo members to engage and partner with local communities to provide support to surrounding villages in need of food and supplies.
