Puerto Rico National Guard supports U.S. humanitarian mission in Haiti

Puerto Rico National Guard Citizen-Soldiers and helicopters deployed to Haiti Tuesday night as part of U.S. relief efforts at the request of USAID, after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake devastated the southwest area of the country, causing more than 1,940 deaths and leaving at least 10,000 people injured as well as the collapse of vital infrastructure, according to news reports.

75th Troop Command supports SOUTHCOM at Tradewinds exercise

After more than a year of planning, the Kentucky National Guard's 75th Troop Command executed the largest U.S.-led multinational training exercise in the Caribbean this year, serving as the headquarters for base camp operations during Tradewinds 2021 June 11-26.

PRNG and Honduras Exchange Knowledge and Skills Through State Partnership Program

Officers of the Puerto Rico National Guard visited the Honduras Emergency Operation Center (COPECO) facilities in Honduras May 14 to 18. The purpose of the visit was to share techniques and procedures to be applied during emergency events caused by natural disasters such as the most recent Hurricane Maria event which hit the island of Puerto Rico eight months ago.
