Exercise New Horizons 2019 concludes in Guyana

Since the start of the exercise in May, the New Horizons team comprised of U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army engineers, built three community centers and a women’s shelter, as well as participated in several medical outreach events in Guyana.

Guyana to Host New Horizons Humanitarian Assistance Exercise

New Horizons, the U.S. Southern Command’s annual training exercise, kicks off in Linden next month. The three month event will train U.S. military civil engineers and medical professionals, who will work alongside Guyanese military and health professionals in joint humanitarian assistance exercises.
