571st MSAS provides aviation weather capability to Panama

Panama’s Darién Gap is a 10,000 square-mile remote region of mountains, swamps and rainforests, known for attracting explorers and adventurers alike. In July 2019, 11 air advisors from the 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron descended upon the Gap as part of a mobile training team with personnel from the National Air and Naval Service, or SENAN, at Nicanor Air Base, Panama.

USAF Conducts First Belize Air, Land, Sea Mobile Training Team Mission

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AFNS) — The 571st MSAS mobile training team’s goal was to enact, change and build capabilities for each of the three Belizean forces, while building partner nation relationships. The team accomplished this by conducting various training courses, including an aircrew flying hour program, aircraft scheduling program, tactical first aid course, aircrew flight equipment program management course, hands-on radio course and an information technology principles course.

The 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron (MSAS) recently conducted a Building Partnerships Capacity (BPC) mission in Bogota, Colombia.

Air Advisors conduct first-ever BPC mission in Costa Rica

JUAN SANTAMARIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Costa Rica (AFNS) — The 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron recently conducted their first-ever mission to the Central American country of Costa Rica. The nine member team, executed a three-week building partnership capacity mission with the air vigilance service, of SVA, from May 16 through June 9, 2018.
