Joint Task Force-Bravo 1-228 Aviation Regiment participates in Ilopango Air Show 2026

ILOPANGO, El Salvador — At the invitation of our regional partners, our aviation units participate in air shows to foster positive relations, strengthen regional partnerships and capabilities, and showcase our operational assets. Over the two day event, attendees met the crew, took photos, and experienced the aircraft up close, including the pilot and troop seats.

Multinational military exercise Resolute Sentinel 2024 kicks off

LIMA, Peru — The multinational military exercise Resolute Sentinel 2024 officially began May 27, 2024, at Grupo 4 in La Joya, Peru, after an opening ceremony and unveiling of the 2024 exercise partnership emblem. RS24, which will continue through the next three weeks, is sponsored by U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) and marks the beginning of a comprehensive joint training opportunity aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, France and the United States.

Navy SEALs Enhance Maritime Domain Dominance with Partner Forces in Colombia

CARTAGENA, Colombia — East-Coast-Based Naval Special Warfare Operators (SEAL) showcased their capabilities and strengthened international partnerships during their participation in the multinational exercise UNITAS 64. As part of the exercise, SEALs trained alongside partner nation special operations forces in submarine operations, visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS), and close quarters combat (CQC), reaffirming the importance of collaboration in maritime defense strategies.
