Connecticut National Guard Leaders Build Bonds in Uruguay

U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Francis Evon, the Connecticut adjutant general, and other Connecticut Army National Guard officers visited Montevideo, Uruguay, Aug. 6-10, to strengthen bonds with the Uruguayan Armed Forces.

New York Guard Trains With Brazilian Military

One hundred New York National Guard airmen, including 80 from the 106th Rescue Wing, are participating in exercises with their Brazilian air force counterparts.

NY Guard Space ops Experts Mentor at Space Command Exercise

The Global Sentinel exercise, which began in 2014 with seven nations, allows U.S. allies to practice the skills to ensure that satellites used by their militaries for communications, navigation and reconnaissance keep functioning, according to U.S. Space Command.

Connecticut National Guard, Uruguay Conduct IED Training

Seven members of the 192nd Engineer Battalion conducted counter-improvised explosive device training with the Uruguayan Army in Montevideo, Uruguay, July 15-25 as part of a bilateral exchange between the two partners.

Kentucky National Guard participates in Tradewinds 2022

Kentucky National Guard Soldiers traveled out of the country to support Operation Tradewinds 22 in Belize Apr. 29-May 25. Almost 40 Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment (HHD), 75th Troop Command, including six support Soldiers from other units, set up brigade-level operations to support 1,802 service members from 22 partner nations at the British Army Training Support Unit Belize at Price Barracks

NY Airmen discuss space operations with Brazilian counterparts

Three New York Air National Guard Airmen spent April 18-25 sharing their knowledge of space operations and their organization with Brazilian airmen assigned to that country’s Aerospace Operations Command.

Staff Sgt. William Rudd, 1175th Military Police Co., facilitates a presentation on taking DNA evidence with Staff Sgt. Jaymes Dooley (1139th MP Co.), serving as a demonstrator. The presentation was part of a crime scene investigation subject matter expert exchange between Missouri National Guard Soldiers and members of Panama's law enforcement and protection agencies. The Missouri National Guard has partnered with the country of Panama since 1996 under the Department of Defense National Guard Bureau State Partnership Program.
