Peru and US Navy Celebrate a Successful DESI Deployment

MAYPORT, Fl. (NNS) -- Peruvian and U.S. Navy Sailors celebrated 89 days of joint operations with the Peruvian Submarine BAP Arica (SS-36) at a closing ceremony held at Naval Station Mayport, Oct. 22.

Air advisors from the 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron lead a discussion at Air Mobility Command’s terminal located in Callao Air Base, Lima, Peru. 4th Fleet Hosts Staff Talks with Peruvian Naval Delegation

Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, Rear Adm. Sean Buck, and staff hosted Peruvian Chief of Staff of General Command of Pacific Operations, Rear Adm. Alberto Alcala Luna and his staff for Maritime Staff Talks (MST), June 4-6.

WVNG Soldier provides influence for NCO development in Peruvian Army

LIMA, Peru — The U.S. Army South (ARSOUTH) and a member of the West Virginia National Guard’s (WVNG) State Partnership Program (SPP) conducted a combined workshop in Lima, Peru from May 28 through June 1, 2018, with Peruvian Army (PERAR) officers and NCOs in order to provide a foundation for institutional change to education and leader development within the PERAR NCO corps.
