Seventeen Joint Task Force-Bravo members assigned to the 349th Medical Detachment traveled to Pejibaye, Costa Rica, to team up with 46 Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social members to conduct a Medical Readiness Training Exercise and provided medical care to 620 people between February 25-27, 2025.

Over three days, 18 service members from Army Forces Battalion, Joint Task Force-Bravo, alongside more than 50 Honduran counterparts, provided health care services to 835 Hondurans living in the vicinity of Tela, Honduras, Dec. 3 through 5, 2024.

Gen. Richardson Meets With President, Senior Officials During Visit to Honduras

U.S. Army Gen. Laura Richardson, the commander of U.S. Southern Command, visited Honduras June 17-18 and met with Honduran President Xiomara Castro and other senior officials to discuss continued bilateral cooperation. Richardson's visit to Honduras was her fifth as SOUTHCOM commander. The trip included a visit to Joint Task Force-Bravo to preside over the task force's change of command ceremony.
