Coast Guard Cutter Seneca offloads more than 12,000 pounds of cocaine in Miami

The Coast Guard Cutter Seneca (WMEC-906) crew offloaded more than 12,000 pounds of cocaine Friday at Coast Guard Sector Miami. The drugs were interdicted in international waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean off the coasts of Mexico, Central and South America, including contraband seized and recovered in more than five interdictions of suspected drug smuggling vessels by U.S. Coast Guard cutters.

USS Michael Murphy Supports Maritime Interdicton Operations

PACIFIC OCEAN – While conducting routine operations in the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations an MH-60R Sea Hawk, assigned to the "Easyriders" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 37, embarked aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112), sighted a low profile vessel on July 25.
