Chapel Hike 73: Developing relationships

EL TALADRO, Comayagua — More than 200 soldiers, airman and marines from Joint Task Force-Bravo and the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Southern Command participated in Chapel Hike 73 last Saturday, providing more than 5,000 pounds of donated food for the community of El Taladro in Comayagua, Honduras.

SPMAGTF-SC Marines conduct security cooperation training across Central America

SOTO CANO AIR BASE, Honduras — U.S. Marines with the Ground Combat Element, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, are conducting training with host nation militaries while deployed in Central America, June - November, 2017.

U.S. and Brazilian delegates participate in a work group July 24. Topics were broken out for further discussion such as personnel issues, logistics, engineering, science and technology, medical, international affairs, doctrine, training and operations, command and control, cyber, electronic warfare and intelligence, among others.

Sailors Conduct Medical Knowledge Exchange with Honduran Doctors, Nurses to Kick Off Southern Partnership Station 17

Southern Partnership Station 2017 Engagements Begin in Honduras

PUERTO CASTILLA, Honduras (NNS) -- U.S. service members and Honduran civilian and military officials commemorated the start of Southern Partnership Station-Expeditionary Fast Transport 2017 (SPS-EPF 17) events July 24, at the Honduran naval base in Puerto Castilla.

PACIFIC OCEAN - (Jul. 23, 2017) -- U.S. Marine Corps Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAV/P7-A1) depart the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) in support of UNITAS LVIII. UNITAS 2017 Concludes in Peru

LIMA, Peru (NNS) -- After two weeks of multinational exercises and events at-sea and in port, UNITAS 2017 concluded with a debrief and closing ceremony held on the oceanfront July 26, in Lima, Peru.

Special Ops Competition Brings Teams Together, Southcom Commander Says
