Belize Defence Force hosts energy and water conservation policy conference

BELIZE CITY, Belize — The Belize Defence Force hosted an Energy and Water Conservation Policy Subject Matter Expert Exchange in Belize City May 8-10, bringing together Soldiers from the Louisiana National Guard and master planners from the U.S. Corps of Engineers. U.S. Army South was the lead executive agent of this U.S. Southern Command-sponsored professional military exchange.

12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern) Air Force Section Chief Theater Security Cooperation Workshop

TUCSON, Ariz. — The workshop brought key personnel together to discuss strategy and to plan fiscal years 2019-2021 events in 12th Air Force’s (Air Forces Southern) Area of Responsibility. The 2-day-long gathering brought meteorology and oceanography specialists together from various sections of the Department of Defense to discuss operations, lessons learned from 2017, and ways to move forward in the future.
