U.S., Chilean army staff talks reinforce partnership with signing of agreed-to-action

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas — U.S. and Chilean army delegations gathered at the U.S. Army South headquarters at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston for the 19th annual bilateral staff talks executive committee meeting to discuss their partnership and sign a renewed agreed-to-action on Aug. 27, 2024.

Exercise PANAMAX 2024: US Army South hosts 11 nations for major multinational exercise

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas — PANAMAX 2024 is officially underway. The U.S. Southern Command-sponsored, multinational, biennial command post exercise aimed at reinforcing and enhancing the long-term security of the Panama Canal and the Western Hemisphere takes place from Aug. 5-14 at various locations across the United States.

US Air Forces Southern hosts 11 nations for Exercise PANAMAX 2024

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. — PANAMAX 2024 is underway at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. bringing together partner nations from 11 countries across the Americas to integrate and build upon their capabilities to plan and execute multinational operations, Aug. 5-16.

U.S. Navy and service members from partner nations participate in U.S. Southern Command PANAMAX 2024 in Mayport, Fla., Aug. 8. PANAMAX is an annual SOUTHCOM-sponsored multinational exercise that focuses on ensuring the defense of the Panama Canal. U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet supports U.S. Southern Command’s joint and combined military operations by employing maritime forces in cooperative maritime security operations to maintain access, enhance interoperability, and build enduring partnerships in order to enhance regional security and promote peace, stability and prosperity in the Caribbean, Central and South American region.
