U.S. Southern Command hosted the newly established U.S. Space Force and Brazilian counterparts for virtual U.S.-Brazil Space Engagement Talks.  Not only is this the first senior space flag officer event between the U.S. and Brazil, but it is the first such event for the U.S. Space Force.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro visited U.S. Southern Command today to meet with U.S. Navy Adm. Craig Faller, as well as other command and Department of Defense leaders. The leaders discussed the growing defense-cooperation partnership between Brazil and the U.S.

Brazilian President to Visit U.S. Southern Command

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro will take part in a historic visit to U.S. Southern Command March 7. Bolsonaro will meet with U.S. Navy Adm. Craig Faller, as well as other command leaders to discuss the growing defense-cooperation partnership between Brazil and the United States. During the visit, the U.S. and Brazil will sign a bilateral Agreement on Research Development, Test, and Evaluation Projects.

U.S. Army South Prepares for Exercise with Brazil

In preparation for this year's PANAMAX multinational exercise and upcoming combined training at JRTC and in São Paulo, Brazil, U.S. Army South hosted Brazilian army Maj. Gen. Marcos De Sá Affonso Da Costa, Brazilian Director for training, Maj. Gen. Josias Pedrotti Da Rosa, Brazilian army attache to the United States, and their delegation at Army South headquarters, Joint Base San Antonio- Fort Sam Houston, Feb. 4.

U.S. and Brazilian Medical Team Completes Amazon Humanitarian Mission

MANAUS, Brazil (NNS) (NNS) -- Six U.S. military medical professionals deployed to Manaus, Brazil completed a 26-day Brazil Riverine humanitarian medical mission with their Brazilian navy counterparts to exchange medical expertise and to provide medical care to isolated communities along the Amazon River, Aug. 30.
