NMCB 1 Completes School for Indigenous Colombian Tribe

Seabees, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) ONE, along with their Colombian army counterparts, completed construction of a new school for the indigenous Wayuu people in the rural community of Riohacha, Colombia, August 29, as part of Southern Partnership Station (SPS) 2019.

U.S. and Brazilian Medical Team Completes Amazon Humanitarian Mission

MANAUS, Brazil (NNS) (NNS) -- Six U.S. military medical professionals deployed to Manaus, Brazil completed a 26-day Brazil Riverine humanitarian medical mission with their Brazilian navy counterparts to exchange medical expertise and to provide medical care to isolated communities along the Amazon River, Aug. 30.
