ATLANTIC OCEAN - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) and Brazilian frigate BNS União (F45) conducted a 5-day maritime exercise September 23-28 that took place off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

AFRC Wing at Travis delivers humanitarian aid to Haiti

A Reserve aircrew from the 301st Airlift Squadron performed a three-day mission Sept. 23 – 25, to move humanitarian cargo to Haiti. Through the Denton Program, three school buses donated from San Diego Unified School District were transported from March Air Reserve Base, California, to Haiti.
