Former Argentine Liaison Officer to SOUTHCOM Returns to Command Naval Component during PANAMAX

With PANAMAX ‘22 wrapping up last week, military personnel from participating nations began to make their way back to their respective homes after two weeks of working throughout various locations in the United States. For Argentine Rear Admiral Marcelo Fernandez, who served as the Naval component lead for the exercise, the two weeks spent in Mayport, Florida brought back fond memories.

U.S. Military Health Team will visit Guatemala in August

The 2022 Health Engagements Assistance Response Team (HEART 22) will visit hospitals in Guatemala City and Quetzaltenango in mid-August 2022. HEART 22 is a team of U.S. Army and Air Force medical and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM). Approximately 25 members will travel to Guatemala.

PANAMAX 2022 Command Post Exercise Concludes

From Aug. 1-12, 2022, 1,500 U.S. military personnel along with nearly 500 security personnel from 19 nations participated in the multinational command post exercise, PANAMAX 2022, hosted at various locations in the United States by U.S. Southern Command.
