Massachusetts partnership promotes NCO development with Paraguay

Master Sgt. Miguel, Massachusetts Air National Guard Senior NCO, shared his knowledge and experience with 105 Paraguayan SNCOs during a five-day Subject Matter Expert Exchange, Oct. 30 to Nov. 3, 2017. The overarching goal of the workshop was to create an exchange that will enhance the Paraguayan SNCO corps.

JTF-Bravo joins partners for a Pediatric Nutritional Assessment

La Paz, Honduras — LA PAZ, Honduras— Personnel from Joint Task Force-Bravo Medical Element partnered with service members from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the Honduran Ministry of Health, and the U.S. Agency for International Development to conduct the third part of an ongoing pediatric nutritional assessment at three villages within the Department of La Paz, Honduras from Nov. 7-9, 2017.

Air Force Reservists Deliver Humanitarian Aid to Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — Air Force reservists with the 514th Air Mobility Wing delivered 15 pallets of food weighing 76,410 pounds to Haiti as part of the Denton humanitarian aid program.

MSAS conducts joint training with Uruguay

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — The 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron completed training with the Uruguayan Air Force in Carrasco, Uruguay.

Mobility aircraft deliver U.S. Navy’s undersea rescue capabilities to Argentina

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (AFNS) — Two C-17 Globemaster IIIs and a C-5M Super Galaxy delivered U.S. Navy’s undersea rescue capabilities to Argentina to aid in the search for the ARA San Juan, an Argentine navy submarine that went missing in the southern Atlantic Ocean Nov. 15, 2017.

USS Zephyr conducts counternarcotics operations

CARIBBEAN SEA (NNS) -- Coastal patrol ship USS Zephyr (PC 8) intercepted a small boat carrying 35 bales, approximately 700-1,050 kg, of cocaine, while on patrol in the Caribbean Sea, Oct. 29.
