Coast Guard offloads more than 7.1 tons of cocaine in San Diego

The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Waesche offloaded Friday in San Diego more than 14,300 pounds of cocaine seized in international waters off the Eastern Pacific Ocean from February to late March.

W. Va. Senior Enlisted Leaders Meet with Peruvian Army NCOs

Senior enlisted leaders from the West Virginia Army National Guard (WVARNG) spent five days assisting in the training and development of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) corps for the Peruvian Army (PERAR) March 25 through 29, 2019 in Lima, Peru.

The 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, also known as the Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration hosts the 2018 Caribbean Hurricane Awareness Tour, April 23-28. The tour is designed to help communities in Mexico and the Caribbean prepare for the season and the coming storms. US hurricane forecasters embark on preparedness mission to Mexico, Caribbean

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. — With the 2019 hurricane season fast approaching, NOAA and the U.S. Air Force Reserve will host a series of events, including tours aboard the hurricane hunter aircraft, to help communities in Mexico and the Caribbean prepare for the season and the coming storms.

Coast Guard Offloads 27,000 Pounds of Cocaine at Base Miami Beach

MIAMI — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Tampa (WMEC-902) offloaded approximately 27,000 pounds of cocaine Friday at Base Miami Beach worth an estimated $360 million wholesale seized in international waters in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
