Signing ceremony formalizes New York and Brazil partnership

The New York National Guard embarked on a new State Partnership Program with the country of Brazil with the Thursday signing of a Partnership Declaration between Maj. Gen. Ray Shields, the adjutant general of New York, and Brazilian Navy Rear Adm. Guilherme da Silva Costa, representing the Brazilian National Defense Force, aboard the Intrepid Air & Space Museum.

1-228th Avn Regt. Trains with El Salvador Special Forces

Brazil Riverine Medical Mission 2019-1 Concludes

Four U.S. Navy physicians embarked aboard Brazilian Navy hospital ship NAsH Carlos Chagas (U 19) completed a month-long mission with their Brazilian Navy counterparts to exchange medical expertise and to bring medical care to isolated communities along the Amazon River, March 3.

Global Health Engagement in action: Trinidad and Tobago

Each year, U.S. Navy personnel deploy to Partner Nations (PNs) in the Caribbean including Central and South America as part of Southern Partnership Station (SPS) to strengthen partnerships and improve interoperability.
